High Grounds Coffee is a mobile coffee store that operates from a variety of different business parks, schools, events and functions. Our mobile coffee van is fully equipped with the latest coffee machines and equipment to give you that sensational and extremely addictive coffee experience. We do not just serve any coffee to our clients as we source, import and roast our own coffee beans from start to finish providing you with a new taste unlike any other.

Our Coffee Offering

At present, High Grounds Coffee, is pleased to offer the Summit Blend. This is a blend of coffee beans from Central and South America. The primary bean, is a full body well roasted bean. To this we have added a bean which has honey notes and one that has citrus notes. Together, they present a fine, balanced, slightly complex coffee, which is unashamedly a robust coffee, without the lingering bitter aftertaste. This coffee can be enjoyed as an Americana or as an Espresso. It does, however, present its best characteristics when taken as a cappuccino.

Sourcing Of Our Beans

We have gone to great lengths in search of the right coffee beans.  Like fine wines, there are a large number of growing regions, climates and varietals around the world.  Each of these areas have the ability to produce beans with their own nuances.  This results in hundreds of different flavors, textures and aromas to create a unique bean.

By taking the best quality beans with a variety of different characteristics from around the world, we are able to ensure that the coffee we provide is a blend to suite the taste profile of those that love great quality coffee.

Roasting

Having sourced the best quality beans, we then roast each of the chosen bean types separately.  This is done to ensure that the characteristics we want to get out of each particular bean is enhanced.  Once roasted, we then blend the various beans to produce the flavor that makes us unique.

The roasting is done by hand, at our roasting facility in Johannesburg.  The process is both an art and a science.  We utilize all the scientific features modern roasting technology allows, but also ensure that the art of roasting is not lost, and that the years of experience that resides in our testing team is utilized to its full potential.  In this way, we are able to produce the same great quality product every time.
